Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks Remaster
2005"s Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks started trending online after series co-creator Ed Boon asked fans for their remaster wishes. Boon has been teasing Mortal Kombat fans a lot lately, as just last month he may have teased a potential Marvel and DC crossover fighting game.

The Mortal Kombat series has a dedicated fanbase, in part due lớn the different twists and turns the franchise takes. From the iconic "Toasty!" easter egg to lớn the intentionally over-the-top violence, & the unexpectedly wholesome Friendship finishing moves, Mortal Kombat provides both humor and viscerally disgusting action while also delivering a lore-filled, complex story. This story isn"t just told in the mainline Mortal Kombat games, however, & some of the biggest twists can be found in spin-off titles like Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.

Recently, Ed Boon took lớn Twitter khổng lồ post a poll with a caption that simply read, "Remaster …. ?" The available options included 2004"s Mortal Kombat: Deception, 2011"s Mortal Kombat 9 reboot, the original Mortal Kombat II from 1993, và Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. An hour later, Boon returned with a screenshot of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks trending on Twitter, và a caption reading, "W in T actual F ?"

At the time of writing, a total of 129,121 votes has been cast, with 47.3% of them going towards Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (disclosure: this writer had to lớn cast a vote to see the results). Mortal Kombat 9 comes in second with 27.8%, Mortal Kombat: Deception took third with 14.1%, and Mortal Kombat II recieved the remaining 10.8%. Fans are apparently split, with many begging for a Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks remaster, and others not quite getting the hype for the spin-off.

Whereas all the other games on the danh sách are closer to the typical Mortal Kombat experience, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks" main attraction was its co-op adventure mode, where players could team up with a friend & explore the Mortal Kombat world & bash their way through hordes of minions. The game"s story centered around Kung Lao và Liu Kang, but Scorpion và Sub-Zero are also unlockable for the game"s adventure mode. Also, as an added bonus, Mortal Kombat II is playable in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks via an in-game unlochồng.

Of course, the other games all have sầu their pros too, and fans are nostalgic for them as well (see this Mortal Kombat 9 fan animation for proof) but for many, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks was their first introduction to the franchise, and one of the few games that featured an actual adventure mode instead of just 1v1 fights. Ed Boon has talked about doing a Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks remaster before, so perhaps this poll will give hyên the push to actually make it happen.
